To his Excellency Thos. E Bramlette Governor of Kentucky

Your petitioner W^m. Weddle states that at the Mar term of the Pulaski circuit court for 186[ ] a judgment was rendered against him in favor of the Comth of Kentucky for the sum of $30.00 ~~and at the [ ] term of said court another judgment was rendered as aforesaid for the amt of $[ ].~~

He further states that said judgts was rendered against him for assout and breach of the peace. He states that previous to the indictments aforesaid he had been arrested and tried for the same offense before a Justice of the Peace for said county and the same had been tried and terminated and that he was not liable to indictment.

He further ^states^ that he could not be at the trial and make the defense:

Wherefore he asks that the fine be remitted

I Solomon Weddle a Justice of the Peace for said county do hereby certify that from the records of my office and from my own personal knowledge that the facts stated by the petitioner are true. There had been a judgment before a Justice of the Peace
for the offense before the indictment referred to
