I have been directed by the Government of Bavaria which I have the honor to represent, to apply to your Excellency and request you to direct that I receive answers to the annexed questions from the proper Authorities of your State for transmission to Munic. viz โ
1. In how far and how and under what circumstances, have married women the right in your State to dispose of, and hold property and act without appeal to or consent of their husbands!
2. Whether they have the right to make lawfully available statements and declarations & arrangements to hold or dispose of any property belonging or coming to them without consulting & consent of their husbands! in/short what right of the Laws of your Commonwealth give and sanction in this
behalf, as well as in behalf of women holding property under their own name, โ in short about womens,, rights in your Commonweath. โ
