Hartford, Kentucky, soldier. Native of France. Captain in the 26th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) from March 5, 1862 to June 14, 1862. Lieutenant colonel in the 15th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.). Died in battle at Owensboro on September 19, 1862.
