We would represent to your honor that sometime since Mrs Ellen Husk became the security in a Bail Bond for the appearance of her son Frank Husk, in the Trigg Circuit Court to answer a charge of Vagrancy that the said Husk afterwards joined the Rebel army and as reported and believed was killed, that the said Bail Bond was taken as forfeited, and execution issued thereon —

Mrs Husk is a poor widow and has the family of the said Frank Husk living with her with no means of support, that under the circumstances the Commonwealths Attorney for the District remitted his part of the forfeiture —

We believe that it would be a very great hardship indeed for the Comth to claim the s^d amt from this poor widow. who can scarcely live even without paying the amt —

We have no doubt that this is a case in which the Governor should exercise his clemency and remit the said forfeiture
