I with great sorrow for my son & hopes for his release through your clemency, transmit to you for consideration a petition of many of my citizens nieghbors citizens of Ky. If in your heart you can fell your self at liberty to grant this request — the release of my son Isaac L Collins from prison you will take the burthen from the hearts of his aged parents He has been misguided by bad men and not followed the teachings of his younger days, Hoping for the best I am ever yours,
