Dewit Napier, Hezakiah Harmon and Thomas Fitzpatrick

The Grand Jury of Adair County in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky accuse Dewit Napier Hezakiah Harmon and Thomas Fitzpatrick & James Pendleton of the crime of Malicious and willful shooting with intent to kill Committed as follows towit the said Napier Harmon and Fitzpatrick and & James Pendleton on the 1st day of August 1864 in the county aforesaid did Feloniously willfully and wickedly shoot at one C. L. Rice with intent to kill him the said Rice which said shooting was then and there done with guns loaded with powder and leaden balls or other hard substance and without wounding the said C. L. Rice against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
