John W Flora & Geo Herendon Defendants
The Grand Jury of Campbell county, the name and by the authority of the commonwealth of Kentucky, accuse John W Flora and Geo Herendon of the offense of refusing to receive the vote of a qualified voter, Committed as follows viz; The Said John W Flora & George Herendon on the [...] day of
Member of the UnitedStat Congress of the united States, for the Sixth Congressional District of Ky, a State Treasurer, a Senator forrom the 25th Senatorial District of Said State, Two Member of the General assembly, for the County aforesaid, and a Clerk of the Circuit Court for the County aforesaid, and the Said Flora being then & there a Judge of Said Election, and the Said Herendon being then & there the Sheriff of the Said Election, And Severally acting as Such, at the time and place aforesaid, having been duly appointed and qualified as Said Judge & Sheriff; The Jury aforesaid in the name and by the authority aforesaid, accuse do further Say that at the Election aforesaid for the purpose aforesaid, the at the Precinct and County aforesaid, on the day and year aforesaid, John Cherry a qualified voter of Said Precinct and County aforesaid, did then & there appear before the Judges Sheriff and
Clerk of the Said Election aforesaid between the hours of Seven Oclock A M and Six Oclock P, M,, and then & there did offere to vote; Whereupon the Said John W Flora and Geo Herendon, as Judge and Sheriff of Said Election Respectively did Knowingly, unlawfully and Corruptly refuse to receive the vote of the Said John Cherry, Contrary to the Statutes in Such Case Made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
