James Howard swears that on or about the 8th day of October 1865, at said county, John Mitchell, or affiant verily believes, did unlawfully & feloniously steal, take and cary away, one bay mare, of the value of one hundred & fifty Dollars, the personal property of said affiant: said affiant further swears that said John Mitchell has not been arrested upon the foregoing charge — and is a fugitive from justice of the State of Indiana in the State of Kentucky
