City of Philadelphia ss.

On this twenty first day of January A.D. 1862 before me James McCahen an Alderman and ex officio Justice of the Peace in and for the City of Philadelphia aforesaid, personally appeared Arthur M. Burton a resident of the City and County of Philadelphia in the state of Pennsylvania who being be my duly Sworn according to law doth declare and say that having been appointed a Commissioner of Deeds under Chapter 70 of the Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky entitled "An act to adopt the Revised Statutes" approved January 7th 1852 for the State of Kentucky within the State of Pennsylvania he will well and truly execute and perform all the duties of his station.

Sworn to and subscribed this Twenty first day of January A.D. 1862 before me
