We the undersigned of Commissioned Officers of the Magoffin Cavarlry of the Ky State Guard. beg leave to tender our resignations. We entered the Service with feelings of state pride, we retire from it with feelings of regret, but our opinions and feelings forbid that we should longer remain members of the same. Entertaining the highest opinion for your past patriotic efforts to promote the peace and tranquility of Ky and our warmest wishes for future prosperity
