To his Excellency Beriah Magoffin Govenor of Kentucky Your Petitioners would represent that Thomas Clutter was fine the sum of Thirty Dollars for a Breach of the Peace Committed in Nicholasville he was tried before H J Campbell presiding Judge of the Jessamine County Court.
Your Petitioners would represent that Mr Clutter is an industrious energetic young man that he is dependent on his own labor for a support — that he is an orderly citizen — that he was fine on circumstances on [...] above — They would Petition your Excellency to remit said fine & will ever Petition —
