Your umbal petioner Caloway Marcum states that at the t a resonable time to here from you before they delivr me to the Jailer my relation is not able to pay the fine and are hardly able to give me some thing to Eat or they would pay it for me — if it had not hapened that I got shot I would not have asked for you to
interposed and remited the fine but as it is I umbly ask it of you and umbly ask it of you will be thankful

I would just state that he is un able to work and I have no doubt will remain so from the shot mention and is not able to pay the same and will releas the Cost that is coming to me and it would be an act of Charity to releas the fine
