Dear Sir

At the March Term of Calloway Equity & Criminal Court a Judgment for $[...] fine & fifteen days imprisonment was rendered ^in favor of Commonwealth of Ky^ against James Todd for a Breach of the peace I was not the Comths Atty at that term; but have been credibly informed that his guilt was incurred by defending his father — an old man — but was not able to clearly establish it to the Jury & would respectfully ask you to exercise you executive clemency in his favor by remitting that portion of the judgment that applies to imprisonment
