Dr Sir, John Gibson of this County was convicted and Sentenced to the penitentiary for the crime of Horse Stealing in the year
Now Governor from the mannor that this man Gibson has conducted himself Since he has Been In Prison and the fact of his family kneeding his aid, & to Restore him to the privileges of a citizen again. I hope you will Extend your Executive Clemincy in his Behalf; for his good conduct since in Prision I Refere you to the officers of the Institution, he is a young man and I hope this Will admonish him to never do So again if he is guilty
