To his Excellency the Governor of Ky
Your petitioners James Keeling and other citizens of Washington County represent that in a prosecution for breach of the peace before F H [Chasser] Esq a justice of the peace of Washington County he was adjudged to pay a fine of $17.50/100 and costs for which an execution is in the hands of Joseph Reddicks a constable — the offe^n^ce charged was disorderly conduct at the house of Joseph Hall his brother in law who caused his prosecution but who is now reconciled with him — Said Keeling is a very poor young man —, and not now having disipated is of ordinary good conduct, and is now the only reliance for attention and protection of his father and Mother, the former having been for years entirely confined to bed by age and disease — Your petitioners respectfully ask a remission of said fine —
