Against } For an Affray
Wright & Nevill Defendents
This day came the attorney for the Commonwealth and the defendants entered a plea of not guilty and thereupon came a jury to wit Redmund Prewett Frank Forde H Johnson John Beaven Ben Wheatley Felix McAlee James A Jarboe Joseph Walston James Averitt Leo Beaven Q M Chandler and C H Vancleave were sworn to try the issue and after hearing the evidence retired and returned into Court the following verdict to wit we of the Jury find the defendents both guilty of an affray as charged in the within indictment and assess the fine of Wright to forty five Dollars and Nevill to Thirty Dollars James A Jarboe one of the Jury. It is therefore adjudged that Said Wright make his fine to the Commonwealth by the payment of forty five Dollars and that said Nevill make his fine to the Comonnwealth by the payment of Thirty Dollars the amount by the Jury in their Verdict aforesaid assessed and also the Costs berein expended and they many be taken &c
