To His Excellency
B Magoffin Esqr

Robt R Harrison some time since was arrested and Commited to Jail in this county under a charge of murdering William A White of this county — On the night of the 22nd Inst said Harrison escaped from said Jail & has not been since heard of — By a statuit in such case provided it is my duty as Judge of the County Court of Warren County to advise you of the fact & to petition your to issue your proclamation in the premises which I hope you will do forthwith — My information is that the murder was an aggravated case —

P. S. The description of said Harrsion is as follows —

About 5ft 10 Inches high heavy set Hair dark sandy. age between 25 & 30 years — a scar on one cheek bone, speaks distinctly & slowly, rather round shouldered — stout healthy looking man
