Gov of the Comlth of Ky

The undersigned County Judge for the County of Henry would represent that John Roberts Jr has committed the crime of murder in this County (Henry) on the [...] day of Dec 1861 by stabbing oneDavid Brewer with a Dirk Knife causing his death — The case is a very aggrevated one and writs have been placed in the hands of various officers of this comlth. for some days past who have failed to arrest him —

he is now a fugitive from Justice — I think a reward would cause his arrest and the case requires that one should be offered —

Roberts is about 20 years old — Blue eyes very fair skin, about five feet 7 inches height with a scar over his right eye about 2 inches long
