I am directed by the General Commanding, to say, in reply to your letter of
Camp Chase is the appointed rendezvous, for all paroled prisoners, belonging to regiments from Kentucky, (see Genl Order, War Dept. No 72.1862) and the establishment of such a camp as you propose, near Louisville, is not in his power.
