Sir At the request of Mr Amaziah Brafford who is a verry worthy industrious citizen and who feells a deep solicitude for his unfortunate Brother who is an inmate of the penitentiary for cutting one David Macullough which resulted in his Death we would say that we have been personally acquainted with this young Man from his small Boyhood and believe that it was done in suden heat and passion without any malice or thought of Killing his victim. it is true that he was under the influence of Liquor being on the
