Hon. J. F. Robinson
Frankfort
Dear Sir. We would state that the man Kavanaugh has been in our employment for the last nine or ten months and during that time we have found him a steady temperate and industrious man having no fault whatever, We can safely recommend him as an object of clemency feeling assured that he will never be so unfortunate as to be engaged in anything which might call for punishment from the law. His wife and children are in a very dependent position and having nothing to go upon except the proceeds of his daily labor. Anything which in your judgment you can do for him will be taken a great favor.
Yours truly
Bridgeford & Co
