His Excellency the Governor of Kentucky. Your petitioner would respetctifully State the following facts to you hopinng that after a due consideration of the premises. You may be induced to lend him a helping hand by the power that is invested in you as Goveror of Said State.
Samuel H. Richardson States that at the that he would have been ampply able to have proven his innocence. that he had no opportunity of cross Examening the witnesses against him that the whole proceedings were Commenced and Carried through to a Judgement by some malicious enemies of his. Wherefore he prays that you remit Said fine with the Costs there on.
