We the the true Union men of Harrison county would respectfully request that Capt James H. Coffmanof Col Mundy's battalion of infantry Cavalry be promoted to colonel of a Ky cavalry regiment,
His good conduct, his bravery and efficeincy as an officer while at Cumberland cap entitle him to promotion.
Capt, Coffman was raised in this county, we know him well, and would be gratified to hear of his promotion, knowing him to be worthy.
