Your letter of the 13th inst to His Excellency Govr Bramlette, has been referred to this office for reply. The 10.000 troops called for 6 months service are all to be infantry. If you are disposed to recruit a company, you are hereby authorized. I inclose Genl Orders No 3 from these Head quarters in relation thereto. If the requisite number of men do not report promptly, they will be drafted. As the time for raising them is limited to this month, it will require prompt and immediate action to insure success —
