In Memory of our Brother
Geo. W. Johnson
Whereas Death the common destroyer of man his been in our midst and call in his prime of his life and in the full tide of usefullness to his final reward our worthy Bro Geo. W. Johnson
Therefore be it resolved that while we cheerfully submit to the dispensation of and allwise creator yet under a deep sense of that afflicting and mournful visitation we cannot but regret that the bond of Union between us and Brother Johnson is dissolved on Earth forever and we who remain can only give to the world and the numerous relatives and freinds of the deceased Bro this Testimonial of our sincere an fraternal regard
Resolved That in the death of Bro Johnson that masonry has has lost a worthy member this community a useful citizen and his bereaved wife and children an affectionate Husband and kind parent
Resolved That we deeply sympathize with the distressed wife and relatives of the deceased in their sad bereavement and tender them our sincere condolence
Resolved That the Lodge be drape in mourning black and that we wear the usual badge of mourning for the space of thirty days
Resolved That the secretary be instruced to furnish the family of the deceased with a copy of these Resolution under the seal of the Lodge
