Hart County, Kentucky, farmer and soldier. Kentucky native. Married to Mary J. Craddock. Farmer in Hart County in 1850. Farmer in Hart County in 1860. Served in the 2nd Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as captain and major from October 4, 1861, to January 26, 1864. Served in the 1st Kentucky Capital Guards (U.S.A.) as a lieutenant colonel from July 7, 1864, to September 4, 1865.
