Knox County, Kentucky, soldier. Kentucky native. Resident of Knox County in 1860. Served in the 49th Kentucky Infantry (U.S.A.) as captain from June 1, 1863, to December 14, 1863. Served in the 49th Kentucky Infantry (U.S.A.) as 1st lieutenant from December 14, 1863, to February 3, 1864. Died in military service at Somerset, Kentucky, on February 3, 1864.
