Columbus, Hickman County, Kentucky, merchant and soldier. Tennessee native. Son of Henry Wright and Sarah Wright. Clerk in Hickman County in 1850. Merchant in Columbus in 1860. Served in Captain Lillard's Company of Independent Scouts and Rangers (C.S.A.) in November 1861.
