Casey County, Kentucky, soldier. Kentucky native. Resident of Casey County, Kentucky in 1850. Served in the 8th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as private from September 8, 1862 to September 17, 1863. Served in the 13th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment as private from December 23, 1863, to January 10, 1865. Served in the Casey County State Guards (U.S.A.) as private from February 25, 1865, to October 21, 1865.
