Timothy Patrick Andrews (Union Army, paymaster general)

Baltimore, Maryland, soldier. Native of Ireland. Married to Emily R. Andrews. Father of Richard Snowden Andrews, Ann Louisa Andrews, Emily R. Andrews, Caroline E. Andrews, and Albert L. Andrews. Served in the United States Army from 1812 to 1864. Brevetted brigadier general in 1847. Served in the U.S. Army as deputy paymaster general with the rank of lieutenant colonel from December 17, 1851, to September 6, 1862, and as paymaster general, with the rank of colonel, until November 20, 1864.
