Casey County, Kentucky, soldier. Served in the Casey County State Guards (U.S.A.) as corporal and private from February 25, 1865, to October 21, 1865. Convicted of conduct prejudicial to good order and military discipline, reduced in rank from corporal to private on April 7, 1865.
