Washington County, Kentucky, day laborer and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Redmon Scott and Charlotte Scott. Day laborer in Washington County in 1860. Private and first lieutenant in the 1st Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) from October 28, 1861, to February 5, 1864.
