Attorney in Bellefontaine, Ohio, in 1860. Colonel in the 85th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment from June 1862 to September 1862. Commander of Camp Chase prison in Columbus, Ohio. Member of the Ohio House of Representatives in 1864. Member of the Ohio Senate.
