Cincinnati, Ohio, blacksmith and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of John F. Flack and Lucinda Flack. Blacksmith in Cincinnati in 1860. Served in the 1st Independent Kentucky Battery (U.S.A.) as private and quartermaster sergeant from April 20, 1861, to June 3, 1864.
