Jefferson County, Kentucky, attorney and politician. Shelby County, Kentucky, native. Graduate of Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. Practiced law in partnership with T. J. Heady and Joseph Lancaster. Member of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from Jefferson County from 1849 to 1851. Attorney in Louisville in 1850. Member of the law firm of Baird & Price in partnership with Jonathan Hobson Price in Louisville.
