Washington County, Kentucky, soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Francis Rigdon and Rosannah Rigdon. Resident of Washington County in 1850. Resident of Washington County in 1860. Served in the 11th Kentucky Cavalry (U.S.A.) as a private and sergeant from September 22, 1862 to July 13, 1865.
