Dear Sir.

Information has been furnished me as Commonwealths atty pro tem that Nicholas Jones & William Jones who have been indicted for the crime of murder at the present term (October) of the Union Circuit Court are now in the town of Mount Vernon, Indianna One of them is quite sick and unable to get away — but it is his intention so soon as he recovers to leave for parts unknown. I therefore ask that you make a requisition upon the Gov of Indianna for histheir arrest &c

Enclosed you will find a certified copy of the indictment —

It is regarded a very cold blooded murder and your immediate attention is solicited
