THOMAS E. BRAMLETTE,
GOVERNOR OF SAID COMMONWEALTH.
TO ALL WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING:
Know Ye, That reposing especial trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence, and ability of Moses Cook, I do hereby appoint him Agent, On the part of this State, to proceed to the State of Wisconsin for the purpose of demanding and receiving from the proper authorities of said State, Claudius Tift, a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Kentucky, charged with Felony; and I do hereby authorize and direct the said Moses Cook to demand and receive the said Fugitive, bring him to this State, and deliver him to the custody of the Jailor of the County of Campbell Co' Ky.
