Dear Sir:

Your favor of the 15th inst respecting the renewal of my commission as Commissioner of Deeds &c: for Kentucky, is received. — I desire to have it renewed, and herewith enclose the State Tax of Five Dollars, as suggested. — On receipt of Commission, I will forward my official oath &c. — When will it be issued? If not at once, please advise me of the safe receipt of the $5. —
