Capital Guard Regiment

Sanctioned by War Department as a regiment of Kentucky State Troops. Consisted of three battalions stationed near Frankfort, Paducah, and the Sandy Valley. Commander(s): Colonel Pierce B. Hawkins and Lieutenant Colonel Jesse J. Craddock.
