Kenton County, Kentucky, attorney. New Hampshire native. Son of Jacob Mooar. Married to Lydia Ann Southgate Mooar on May 9, 1844. Father of Elizabeth Bernard Mooar, Amelia Oriana Mooar, Charles Wright Mooar, Clara Bell Mooar, and George Southgate Mooar. Read law in Covington and at the Law School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Attorney in Kenton County in 1850. Employed Charles Mooar and Wright Southgate as attorneys in 1850. Owned two enslaved persons in Kenton County in 1850. Attorney in Kenton County in 1860. Employed Patrick Dugan as a servant in 1860.
