Father of Harry C. Gorin and Anna Gorin. Admitted to the bar in January 1820. Resident in Barren County in 1830. Owned three enslaved persons in Barren County in 1830. Owned Mammoth Cave from 1838 to 1840. Resident in Barren County in 1840. Owned four enslaved persons in Barren County in 1840. Attorney in partnership with John Bell in Nashville, Tennessee. Attorney in Barren County in 1850. Owned five enslaved persons in Barren County in 1850. Attorney in partnership with Addison M. Gazlay at Gorin and Gazlay in Louisville from 1859 to 1863. Owned five enslaved persons in Jefferson County in 1860. Attorney in partnership with Addison M. Gazlay and Jack Fry in 1865.
