Henry County, Kentucky, clerk and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of William A. Perry and Caroline B. Perry. Clerk in Henry County in 1860. Household owned four enslaved persons in Henry County in 1860. Served in the 6th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a private, sergeant major, second lieutenant, first lieutenant, and adjutant from January 2, 1862 to January 2, 1865.
