Henry County, Kentucky, farmer. Maryland native. Son of Smallwood Ecton and Mary Wilson Ecton. Married to Sarah "Sally" Kelly Ecton in Clark County, Kentucky, on May 29, 1817. Father of Smallwood Ecton. Farmer in Henry County in 1850. Owned eleven enslaved persons in Henry County in 1850. Farmer in Henry County in 1860. Owned ten enslaved persons in Henry County in 1860.
