Larue County, Kentucky, miller, preacher, and soldier. Pennsylvania native. Married to Mary Wilson. Father of Frances A. Wilson. Miller in Nelson County, Kentucky in 1850. Owned four enslaved persons in Nelson County in 1850. Methodist preacher in Larue County in 1860. Employed John Barnett in 1860. Owned one enslaved person in Larue County in 1860. Served in the 33rd Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as captain and lieutenant colonel from September 13, 1862 to March 31, 1864. Served in the 26th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as major from April 1, 1864 to May 14, 1864.
