Kenton County, Kentucky, attorney and politician. Kentucky native. Married to Adelia Simmons. Father of Rufus Simmons, Mary Simmons, James Simmons, and Jennie Simmons. Member of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from Kenton County from 1853 to 1855. Attorney in Kenton County, Kentucky, in 1860. Employed Eliza McCracken as a domestic servant in Kenton County in 1860. Attorney in Kenton County in 1863.
