Henry County, Kentucky, attorney and circuit judge. Henry County, Kentucky, native. Son of Edward C. Drane and Judith Dupuy Drane. Married to Mary Shipman Drane in 1861. Father of Paul S. Drane. Graduated from the Law Department of the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1849. Partner with William S. Pryor in the law firm Pryor & Drane in Henry County in 1849. Resident of Henry County in 1850. Attorney in Henry County in 1860. Circuit judge of the Eighth Kentucky Judicial District from 1862 to 1868.
