Kenton County, Kentucky, bookkeeper. Indiana native. Married to Rachel Cleveland Collins in 1851. Father of Lelia Collins, Edgar Collins, William Collins, and Estelle Collins. Bookkeeper in Kenton County, Kentucky, in 1860. Employed Maria Findler as a servant in Kenton County in 1860. Served in the 16th United States Infantry as quartermaster sergeant from 1847 to 1848.
