I Enclose you a letter addressing to Hhs Excellency Tho^s E Bramlette Govenor of Kentucky by M V Bowen Police Judge of the town of Harrodsburg (and by him referred to me) complaining of the interference of a Military Officer in hindering the arrest of a party charged with an offence against the laws

You will at once investigate the case any if any Officer has interfered with the course of the law without sufficient reason you will arrest him for trial

Let this case have the promptest attention send a staff Officer to Harrodsburg with orders To obtain all the facts and make an early report
