Franklin Gorin

Jefferson Circuit Court,
October Term, A. D. 1863.

The Grand Jurors of the County of Jefferson in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, accuse Franklin Gorin of the crime of malicious shooting with the intent to kill committed in manner and form as follows, to=wit: The said Franklin Gorin in the said County of Jefferson on the 11^th day of July. A. D. 186[ ]. did unlawfully, willfully, wickedly, feloniously and of his malace aforethought, shoot at and wound W C Wood with a gun and with a Pistol, loaded with leaden bullitt and with a hard substance, in and upon ~~his~~the body, the body of the said Wood, and in and upon his cheek and face, wounding the said Wood and of which wound the said Wood did not die, with the intent to kill him the said Wood, contrary to the form of the statute in such cases, made and provided against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
